GEMS Public School, Anantnag welcomes existing and proposed parents and invites them to join hands with the school in a partnership that embraces trust, understanding and mutual support for the right upbringing of their wards.
We believe that good practice is universal and the expertise of our team can ensure that our curriculum is implemented equitably in our schools, keeping in mind local sensibilities. Reflecting our identity as a CBSE School, we have the NCF 2005 to benchmark our attainment targets; our methodology, however, has been distilled from the best of international curricula. At the heart of our programme is a spiritual domain, a set of Global values that is integral to all our schools and distinguishes the GEMS student.
Academics is a complex of approved principles which we endeavour to follow with consistency, the hallmark of our schools. Hence our manuals are designed to give Principals and teachers guidelines on all aspects of implementation and policy. Our faculty training embodies a rigorous and inclusive programme of both theory and practice that is constantly reviewed and revived through the year.
We believe that lasting socio-emotional learning, sound character and academic success are founded on classrooms and schools that are not threatening to students and challenge them to learn more, but do so in ways that do not discourage them. Our students grapple with problems, learn to draw on a variety of resources-material and human-and construct their own meaning rather than accepting narrow definitions and rote-based learning. Our schools are places where students feel cared about, welcomed, valued and seen as more than just learners. In fact, we see them as resources and respect them for their uniqueness.
We welcome parents, educators and students who share our dream. Together we can build the India of our dreams.
